The IM Tech Summit Europe 2024 takes place on 15th May at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Brighton Metropole in Brighton.

The IRMS runs the Microsoft 365 Customer Advisory Board, which it launched with Microsoft in 2020, to create a direct relationship between the records management community and the Microsoft 365 development and leadership teams, in order to influence the future direction of the platform.

The event will be opened by Bernd Vellguth, Specialist for Risk Management and Compliance, Microsoft EMEA. He will be joined at the event by wealth of experts from Microsoft including Joanne C Klein, Microsoft 365 Advanced Security and Compliance Specialist, who will explore the interplay between skilled personnel, streamlined business processes, and advanced Microsoft technologies and the vital role each plays in safeguarding records, strengthening resilience against security threats, and ensuring compliance. Rakhi Sachdeva, Microsoft 365 Senior Specialist, Microsoft UK, will explain how the AI assistant, Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365, can free individuals and teams to concentrate on high-value tasks by optimising productivity and efficiency. Finally, Ryan John Murphy, Senior Compliance Specialist, Microsoft will present the impact of an eDiscovery optimisation program using Microsoft tools.

Chair of the IRMS, Jaana Pinnick, states: “The IM Tech Summit will provide unparalleled access to Microsoft 365 specialists who will be ready to help people new to the platform and want to understand the breadth of governance tools now at their disposal, through to deep dive sessions regarding issues of governance, retention policies and disposition workflows.”
